Bus and shuttle

What it is: scheduled public routes and airport shuttles toward the city and surrounding provinces, with details published around opening.

Strengths: by far the cheapest; sensible for backpackers and unhurried travellers.

Limits: slowest door-to-door, luggage handling is yours, and final drop points still leave a last-mile leg in the city. With children or a mountain of bags, the saving rarely survives the experience.
